Sonsie Face (2024)

Based in Edinburgh, Scotland’s glorious capital city, they chose to use the native highland cow in their logo and named their company Sonsie Face Ltd. The word Sonsie comes from 18th century Scotland, and has many meanings from ‘bringing good luck’ to ‘jovial’ and ‘cheeky’. Whilst it was once commonly used in Scotland, you’ll now be most likely to hear it spoken at a Burns Supper during the addressing of the haggis.

Their own highland cow logo plays a large part in their wholesale and retail designs and they also take inspiration from Scotland’s history, culture, wildlife and diverse range of historic and outdoor attractions. Their clothing is loved by those who come to Scotland to enjoy everything our beautiful country has to offer.
